AL East Preview
In the 3rd of 7 MLB Season previews, the AL East is put under the microscope. The Red Sox and the Yanks are (surprise!) the class of the AL East again, but who will win the heavyweight fight to take the East crown?
Cavs beat the buzzer and make a move

Friday Preview
I’ll be heading to my hometown for the weekend, so there probably won’t be a post on Saturday or Sunday. Luckily, I got the AL East Preview all ready to go, so you can expect that tomorrow. Also, don’t forget to check out the Point of Attack Netcast which will be broadcasting live today (Thursday) at 10:15pm EST. If you do miss out on the live show, check back on Friday and an archived version will be available to listen to.
NBA Double Dribble 2/21/08
Lakers (37-17) – 130 Suns (37-17) – 124
Shaq is back! He played 29 minutes and had 15 points and 9 rebounds, but the Suns still came up short. The real story in this game was the Lakers Big 3 (Kobe, Gasol, Odom) who scored 92 of the Lakers 130. This game was my first chance to see the new look Suns/Lakers in action, and I have to say that the Lakers were far more impressive. Maybe it’s because the Suns haven’t had Shaq all that long, but LA has clearly emerged as the team to beat in the West.
College Hoops Rundown 2/21/08
Seven ranked teams took the show on the road last night, and not all of them came away clean:
News Hearding 2/20/08
J-Rich throwing DOWN over Manu. Too bad the Bobcats scored only 65 points
Bond’s, trials and all, is read to play some ball
Johnny Damon almost retired before 2007
Zach Randolph and Nate Robertson needs some counseling (sorry for the stupid ads)
Ron Burgundy Interviews Tom Izzo
AL Central Preview
In this 2nd of 7 MLB Season previews, I take a look at the AL Central. The Central is stacked, but will it be the Indians or the Tigers that take the crown?
NBA Double Dribble 2/20/08
The Dribble returns to a slate of good basketball games! Lets get started:
Boston (41-10) – 118 Denver (33-20) – 124
KG’s big return resulted in 4 points, but the rest of the Celtics picked up the slack to keep this game close. Marcus Camby was a real difference maker with 11 points, 13 rebs, and 9 block. Camby is getting ready for another defensive player of the year award. I know that I ripped on the Nuggets a week ago about being inconsistent, but what I forgot to say is that when they’re on… they’re really good.
Hunter Pence, a hot tub, and a glass door
In a SLOW sports news day, thank god for Hunter Pence.
