NBA Double Dribble 2/13/08
Boston Celtics (40-9) – 104 Indiana Pacers (21-31) – 97
Boston continues to play well despite being without KG. Rajon Rondo has really picked up his all around game since KG has been down, and Pierce has taken over as a dominate force on the offensive end. Maybe it’s just me, but I think the Celts playing so well without KG is killing any chance Garnett has at the MVP. Pierce is really what makes that team go. On top of that, LBJ is single handedly winning every game in Cleveland while 3/5 of the starting lineup is out with injury.
Villanova vs Georgetown
This play should be the on the final exam for every referee in the NCAA. It is a Yes/No answer. Do you make the foul call? Anyone that checks Yes should be launched into space or forced to ref in the WNBA. There is no place for this kind of call in a basketball game. I don’t know about you, but I would like to have the game decided by the players.
