NBA Slam Dunk Contest

This years competition was a lot better than previous few, but there were still a few things that were questionable:

Dwight Howard won this competition. Let me just make that clear. But there was one error that I just couldn’t over look. Watch and see if you can see it:

It was great and all…. but it wasn’t a dunk! He threw the ball in! Not to be a dick about it, but it’s called the Slam Dunk competition, not the… um… Throw Ball In (?) competition. I think his first dunk was the best.

But enough of that! Let’s talk about the ROBBERY that took place. If you thought Dwight Howard and the sticker was slighted last year, peep this:

Now THAT is creative! Personally, it was my favorite dunk of the night…. but it only scored a 46! It may not have been a spectacular dunk, but has this even been attempted before? This is what makes the Dunk competition fun! Big name players don’t want to show up for this, so guys have to be creative. And Mr. Gerald Green gets rewarded with a 46. And in the immortal words of Kenny Smith:

“HE BLEW IT OUT!”
