Nets and Mavs close in on a Jason Kid deal…again

*UPDATED* Sound familiar? It should. After a Devean George veto and a Jerry Stackhouse no-no (see what I did there?) this deal may finally be getting done. Here is what the updated deal looks like:

Mavs get:

F Antoine Wright

Nets get:
G Devin Harris
G Maurice Ager
F Trenton Hassell (Stackhouse’s spot)
F Keith Van Horn (George’s spot)
C DeSagana Diop
2008 & 2010 1st round draft picks
$3 Million in Cash

The Mavericks better hope they win a title with Jason Kidd in a Mavs uniform, because they sure are giving up a lot (aka THE FUTURE). After coming so close the first time, everyone knew that this deal HAD to get done regardless of what it would cost the Mavs.
